Brescia University College is Canada’s only women’s university, and was founded in 1919 by the Ursuline Sisters, who were committed to social justice, community service and the development of women. While our roots are in the Catholic faith, we welcome women of all faiths.
We offer a good range of undergraduate programs as well as a pre-university course which welcomes men as well. Canada is keen to attract international students who are welcomed and thrive in our educational communities.
Brescia University College is affiliated with Western University, located in London, Ontario Canada. Studying at Brescia means that you are also considered a Western student and will graduate with a Western degree. All programs at Brescia are academically linked to Western University.
At Brescia, you will find many opportunities to develop and flourish as an individual in a liberal arts and science setting, with small classes and strong faculty-student relationships. You will also have the chance to take classes with men and women at Western’s main campus and your degree will be granted by Western.
We are ideally located in London, Ontario – a vibrant city with many opportunities for culture, entertainment, outdoor activities, shopping, dining and sports. We are within 200 kilometers of Toronto and Windsor, which all our students can go visit and explore.
